The grant application for the Fondecyt Regular 2025 (ANID - Chile) contest was awarded to our team! Link to the results.


We will be studying the effect of lossy links in the performance of cooperative algorithms for autonomous navigation and for cooperative parameter estimation techniques in collections of autonomous vehicles. We are partnering with Scania, and have the support of several national and international collaborators.

We have secured funding for equipment, stipends, and travel, in order to further strengthen our collaboration network.


Moreover, the project will enable the proper and effective use of the Quanser Self Driving Car Studio which was awarded recently to UTFSM and UAI in a Fondequip project.

We believe that this grant will provide an excellent opportunity to tackle the diverse challenges faced by the intelligent transportation systems of the future.
